Happy Lil Matcha Protein Balls

I know I'm not the only one when I say when I first tried Matcha I was not thrilled with the taste! But, I knew that there were so many benefit to consuming the tea. So I started experimenting in ways I could use it in different recipes. Then light bulb...Protein Balls!

Happy Lil Matcha Protein Balls Recipe


  • 2 cups desiccated coconut

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 1/3 cup rice malt syrup

  • 1/2 cup almond meal

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 tsp Lil Matcha - matcha powder

  • 1 scoop of happy way vanilla protein powder


  1. place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until a sticky yet rollable consistency. (if you need to add more rice malt syrup add a tbsp at a time until you think its perfect)

  2. Roll mix into tbsp sized balls and refrigerate for 10mins

  3. try not eat them all in one go!
